In this tiny used bookstore, across the street from the Yueyanglou, I found a worn and well marked paperback book of Tang poems. Yueyang sits on the northeast bank of Dongtinghu, where the Changjiang passes through. It has always been a major transportation hub and everyone going east or west, or north to south came through this famous town and visited the Yueyang Tower. |
