Weary Night

Dù Fǔ 712-770  A bamboo chill invades my bedchamber; Wilds' moonlight floods a courtyard nook. Ponderous dews, forming beads and drops; Scattered stars, in a moment there or gone. In furtive flight, a firefly glows alone; From water roosts, birds call forth & back. Myriad matters midst shield and spear: Vainly I grieve as clear night passes on.

Dù Fǔ 712-770 Zhú liánɡ qīn wò nèi, Yěyuè mǎn tínɡyú. Zhònɡlù chénɡ juān dī, Xīxīnɡ zhà yǒu wú. An fēi yínɡ zì zhào, Shuǐ sù niǎo xiānɡ hū. Wànshì ɡānɡē lǐ, Kōnɡ bēi qīnɡyè cú.
