We located the Baiyunan on the east side of Wushan in Hangzhou. But we are not certain this is the small temple where Su Manshu stayed. According to the Foguang Dacidian, psge 1376, a monk by the name of 孔清覺 Kǒng Qīngjué 1043-1121 founder of Baiyunzong (sect) practiced at Lingyinsi and later at the Baiyunan, behind the Lingyinsi. So it seems that formerly there was anothe Baiyunan close to the Lingyinsi on the west side of West Lake. If this was the temple where Su Manshu stayed there must be some record of the temple because this was less that 100 years ago. We keep looking.....
