Staying At WhiteCloud Hermitage

----Su Manshu (1884-1918) Dense white clouds envelop Thunder Peak Pagoda, Cold plum blossoms swathed in red snow After vegetarian meal, gently enter trance, Before the hermitage, bell sounds stir deep pool.

Zhù Xīhú Báiyún Chányuàn Zuòcǐ

Bái yún shēn chù léifēng , Jǐ shù nhán méi dài xuě hóng. Zhāi luó chuíchuí hún rù dìng, Àn qián dàn yǐng luò shū zhōng.

Notes: Notes: We are not sure we have located this temple. This small temple, named the 白雲庵 Baiyunan is on the east slope of 玉星山 Yuxingshan, Jade Star Peak beside the 八卦田 Baguatian. From the poem it would seem that the old Baiyun Chanyuan would have been on the west side of Yuxingshan closer to the lake and the Thunder Peak Pagoda.
