Cherry blossoms in Ueno Park
Occasional Poem 1 of 10
|
Su Manshu 1884-1918
The tune "Spring Rain On the Room Upstairs"
by the foot-long flute,
Can I ever return
to see the Qiantang bore?
Straw sandals
cracked begging bowl
no friends here,
How many bridges
trampling cherry blossoms?

Héshí guī kàn Zhèjiāng hú.
Mángxié pòbō wúrén shí,
Tàguò yīnghuā dìjǐ qiāo?
