Down From Zhongnanshan

I come down from Zhongnanshan to spend  the night drinking with Mountain Man Husi Li Bo 699-762 At twilight          I descend from green peaks, A mountain moon         tags along behind. Glancing back at my path,         layers of deep blue                  hover on kingfisher green hills. Soon          together                 we reach the cottage, Where children          swing open the brushwood gate. Green bamboo          shades the secluded path, Green carrot fronds          brush my traveling clothes. Chatting happily         a perfect place to rest, With wave of his hand          he offers some good wine. All night we sing Wind In The Pines, Until our singing stops and stars scatter. Now I'm drunk         once again my friend is joyfull, Relaxed and content          we forget all our troubles.

Xià Zhōngnánshān

Xià Zhōngnánshān Guò Húsīshānrén Sù Zhìjiǔ Lǐ Bó 699-762 Mù cóng bìshān xià, Shān yuè suí rén guī. Què gù suǒ lái jìng, Cāngcāng héng cuìwēi. Xiāng xié jí tiánjiā, Tóngzhì kāi jīng fēi. Lǜzhú rù yōujìng, Qīngluó fú xíngyī. Huān yán dēsuǒ qì, Měijiǔ liáo gòng huī. Cháng gēyín Sōngfēng, Qū jìn hé xīng xī. Wǒ zuì jūn fù lè, Táorán gòng wàngjī.
