Biancai's Return to Tianzhu Temple

Hearing Biancai Has Returned to Upper Tianzhu Monastery
I send him a poem in jest asking, Why?
Su Shi
When the Dao Man left the mountain
Mountain colors turned to ash.
White clouds stopped laughing,
Blue pines overflowed with grief.
Suddenly I hear the Dao Man has returned,
The mountains erupt with birdsong.
A Buddha halo emerges from his bald pate,
Buddha dharma washes away floating dust.
I imagine on north and south mountains,
Flowers overflow the terrace.
Borrowing Chan words to make a jest,
I send message asking the Dao Man;
What did you do here that caused you to leave?
What did you see there that caused you to return?
Dao Man chuckles, doesn't answer.
This meaning is just stop asking questions!
Actually, in former times he never lived here
And moreover he hasn't returned!
Now these words also are gone and don't exist.
Let's just enjoy some Baiyang plums together!
