Winter Solstist Visit to Auspicious Fortune Temple

Su Shi 1036-1101 Cold dark yin at the well bottom          bright yang not yet here, Xiao-xiao          the frigid rain                  soaks withered roots. No one wants to accompany old Su, It is not the time for blossoms         so I tramp here alone.

Dōngzhìrí Dúyóu Jíxiángsì

Sū Shì 1036-1101 Jǐngdǐ wēi yáng huí wèi huí, Xiāo-xiāo hányǔ shī kū dá. Hérén gèng sì Sū fūzǐ, Bù shì huāshí kěn dú lái.

Notes: Where was the 吉祥寺? Surely in Hangzhou for this poem was written in 1072 when Su was posted there. But we have not yet located it.
