From the To Pagoda a stone step path leads to Chua Hoa Yen built on a raised stone courtyard. The original name of this temple was Van Yen, 雲煙寺 Cloud and Smoke Temple. The name was changed to Hoa Yen in the Le Dynasty. At one time it was the largest and most important temple on the mountain. Destroyed many times by fire, the present temple is small. Inside are a dozen bronze statues including a 1.2 meter tall statue of Tran Nhan Tong.
