Writer, perhaps, of the book 道德經 Daodejing, aroung 500 BC. This image is of Laozi's water buffalo on which he rode out of Chinese history. Laozi sits astradle this buffalo on the peak of Qingchengshan, a famous Daoist mountain in Sichuan.
