Mosquitoes!

Xu Baoguang  1671-1740 These singing guests         arrive out of nowhere, Leaping leopards         one after another                 shoving and poking. Evil demons beside my home         from the evening market, Torn from the black dragon hole of sleep         a clap of thunder. Outside the green mosquito net         still stubbornly working, I flipflop my round fan          only temporary relief. But the itchy scatching          goes on all night long, Now they're planting their larva         on my eyelashes                 indescribable!
