Scattered flowers after storm
Cracking Thunder
|
Xu Baoguang 1671-1740
No doubt I've come to Thunder Country,
Today the monster beats its drums!
Suffocating heat and humidity dissipate,
In the typhoon's eye the air is still.
Frightened mice scurry about the room,
In the eves a tiger growls.
He must be irritated and furious,
My hair flaps and small things fly sideways.
