Typhoon Squall Solitary Drunk

Xu Baoguang  1671-1740 In straw sandals          pace back and forth, Lunar halo          forcasts no end in sight. On the ocean          monster surf rises                 rain scuds horizontal, In the winds          belching flashes of lightning. In the small  room         plug the leaks with books, Outside in the courtyard         the balustrade sings                 and drums rapidly. Abandoned         with one pot                 get three times drunk, Why dance a wild dance?         better just drain my cup!

Dàfēngyǔ Chuang Dú Zuì

Xú Báoguāng 1671-1740 Qiū guāng fú jī zhèng páihuái, Yue yùn chóu zhān jìng bù kāi. Hǎi shàng fēi tāo héng zuò yǔ, Fēng zhōng yī kuài zìchéng léi. Xiǎo lóu shū bà lòu hén mǎn, Gé yuàn gē lán gǔdiǎn cuī. Pīn de yī hú sān dú zuì, Héxū mánwǔ quàn shēn bēi.
