Ikkyu  1394-1481  A summit temple         on a solitary peak, A small path of green moss         runs to blue heavens. In this tranquil spot         why make a dog bark! At midnight         the moon drops                 on a single sampan.

Zàn Huàtú Xià Yījiǔlíng

Yīxiū 1394-1481 Gūfēng dǐngshàngsì mén qiān, Xiǎolù qīngtái jìn bì tiān. Jìng chù húwéi jiāo quǎnfèi, Yuè chén bànyè yī péngchuán.
