Plum Pass between Guangxi and Guangdong
Written At Dayu Ridge North Post Station
|
Song Zhiwen 656-712
In fall wild geese fly south,
Then start back from here
it is said.
But my exile has just begun,
When will I again return?
The river is still
Boyang Lake's starting to drain,
the forest's dark with miasmic mist.
For me
tomorrow morning
one last glance toward home,
Those lucky geese
will soon see Gansu plum blossoms!
