Pilgrims collecting Tiger Paw Spring water
Tiger Paw Spring
|
Su Shi 1036-1101
Pavillions and towers stand on east peak,
Where this old master came with much faith.
Tigers pawed the spring while he slept,
Dragons made the spray clapping their hands.
Since then visitors stop to refresh themselves,
Rest and enjoy the sound of jade bells.
This old master was like his spring,
Comforting all with compassion.
