Late Autumn Regrets

Jing An (Eight Fingers) Alone in mist, no trace of my body, Three times south to hear frosty bell. Glimpse of wild geese, thoughts of home, Mountains also grieve, wrapped in gloom. When old friends meet by chance, Anxious Chan creates striking couplets. But I sigh, my mendicant wish unfulfilled, Ten thousand black mountains disappointed.

Mùqiū Shūhuái

Shēn zuò gū yún wú dìng zōng, Nán lái sān dù tīng shuāng zhōng. Rén fāng jiàn yàn sīxiāng xìn, Shān yì bēi qiú dài bìng róng. Jiā jù měi cóng chóu chán de, Gùrén duō zài róng zhōng féng. Zì jiē wèi liǎo tóutuó yuàn, Gū fù qīng shān qiān wàn zhòng.
