This Liao Dyansty pagoda was is next to the location of the temple by the same name that was destroyed by armies of the eight imperial nations in 1900. Later, monks digging in the ruins discoved a box with one of the Buddha's teeth in it. This tooth is now under the new pagoda nearby, the Foyata, built in 1959.
