Well, from my experience, I'd say don't go! It is a small temple and is reputed to have some fine stone carvings. However when I visted on January 15, the day of the Ponga festival, there was a huge crowd and the temple was wrapped in scaffolding being repaired. But the main problem was a tout who followed me around and demanded 100 rupees. I couldn't shake him.
