Welcoming small temple in the township of 金寶鄉 Jinbaoxiang in the outskirts of Yangshuo City. It is not easy to reach for it is perched on top of Jinbao Mountain at the end of a rough rocky dirt road. Parking down below, it was a hot one hour climb to the temple. I was welcomed by a small number of nuns and monks, all of them very old. Seems to be a kind of old people's home. They gratiously offered cold spring water and cool slices of watermelon. The temple is old and musty, obviously not much money flowing in, and untouched by the tourism boom in nearby Yangshuo. It must be mainly for locals living nearby. A pleasant temple and well worth the climb.
