East Mountain

Li Zhuan (Qing) Beyond the village a temple floats in the sky, It's towers indistinct in the bluegreen haze. With short staff I leave city wall         seek a peaceful path, Wild birds cheer me on to final summit. I wonder;         who painted this lovely scene? Pefectly crafted for meditation perch? My only concern         to cherish the numinous valley waters, And not sneer at those with twisted ways.�

Lǐ Zhuān (Qīng) Wàng lǐ zhāotí bié yǒu tiān, Lóutái yǐnyǐn gé cāng yān. Duǎn qióng chū guō xúnyōu jìng, Yěniǎo hū rén shàng jí diān. Mó jié bù lái shuí zhò huà, Shēng gōng rú dàoxǔ qīxī. Zhǐ chóu líng gǔ zhōng shān shuǐ, Wèimiǎn cháo jī cǐdì piān.
