Tiny Hut
        Hanshan Deqing 1546-1623

A tiny hut in a world of plants,
A bed of stone a thatched-roof shrine.
A closed door like Vimilakirti's,
Don't ask about the bunch in front or back.

Xiǎo Ān
Guánmù cóng zhōng yī xiǎo ān,
Shí chuáng wèi zuò cǎo wèi kān.
Dùménkǒu sì Wéimójié,
Mò wèn qián sān yǔ hòu sān.

Translator: Red Pine-Bill Porter 赤松

Notes:
