Hearing Sage Monk of Shu Play The Qin

----(Tang) Li Bai

The Shu Monk, hugging his green damask case,
Tramps down from Emei's peak.
Just for me he plucks a tune,
Like wind in ten thousand valley pines.
A rushing brook cleansing my heart,
Fading notes reverberate in frosty bell.
Unaware of mountain green dusk,
Autumn clouds darken jumbled peaks.

Tīng Shǔ Sēng Jùn Tán Qín

----(Táng) Lǐ Bái
Shǔ sēng bào lǜ qǐ,
Xī xià Éméi fēng;
Wèi wǒ yī huī shǒu,
Rú tīng wàn hè sōng.
Kè xīn xǐ liú shuǐ,
Yú xiǎng rú shuāng zhōng.
Bù jué bì shān mù,
Qiū yún àn jǐ zhòng.
