Former home of the Chojin Lama, brother of the Bogd Khaan. It is now a museum of great statues, masks and tanka.

In 1938 the Stalinist government converted the monastery into a museum. it contains an eclectic collection of Buddhist and worldly artifacts; an embalmed corpse of a lama, thangka scrolls, copies of hand printed Buddhist texts from Tibet, many horrific Cham masks, the Bogd Khan's ger lined with 150 snow leapard skins, antique clocks, a chair donated by Qing Emperor Kangxi and more.
