Located 5 km northwest of Ponda. Originally located at Kushasthal (Kuthal) until 1560 when it was move here. At the time Hindu temples were being desecrated and destroyed by the Christian missionaries during the Inquisition an the Hindus fled here for safty. Dedicated to Shiva.
