Memorial Temple to the Tang monk Jian Zhen, built with funds from the Japanese in the gounds of the Damingsi in Yangzhou. Jian Zhen made six attempts to reach Japan to preach the gospel and finally succeeded on the sixth try at the age of 66. He rained in Japan, in Nara, until his death at the age of 76.
