This temple appears on the tourist maps of Yangzhou, but no in the tourist brochures. When I asked taxi drivers they had never heard of it. So I went to the general area and walked through the alleys of the old city. The locals seemed to knew the name but many did not know where it was. Finally an old lady pointerd me in the right direction and I came upon a dilapidated rooming house which is the remains of the temple. Laundry hangs from open windows, airconditioners sprout from the walls and trash everywhere.
