Located 75km southeast of Datong in Shanxi Province. Perched precariously on verticle cliffs over Jinlong Gultch the Hanging In Mid Air Temple, or Hanging Temple, was built over 1,400 years ago. Today it is not an active temple but rather a museum for tourists.
