Memorial temple to the two concubines of the legendary King Shun of 2,500 BC. King Shun died on a tour of Mount Jiuyi on the southern bank of Dongting Lake. His two concubines hurried to the lake and were stranded on Junshandao. They clung to the bamboo and wept. Their bitter tears speckled the bamboo, and to this day the speckled bamboo on Junshandao are famous.
