Occasional Poem 2 of 10
         Su Manshu 1884-1918

At Dante's feet and Byron's I learned,
Such an ocean of genius in each trickle of life.
I'll sing no more of mere mortal love,
Then who can tell of my sorrow and strife?

Běnshi, Shī Shíshǒu Zhièr
Sū Mànshū (1884-1918)

Dāndùn Péilún shì wǒ shī,
Cái rú jiāng hǎi mìng rú sī.
Zhú xián xiū wèi jiārén jué,
Gūfèn suān qíng yù yǔ shuí?
