Expressing my Sentiments while Moored at Jingang Swamp

Ho Si Dong Cold and lonely          leaves fall from the maples                  by river’s edge, North and south          swallows and wild geese                   fly on their way. Sunflowers in a garden         golden stamens                 a thousand petals, Trees on a bank         a few lonely strands of willow. I look off at the mist and waves          extending on endlessly,  Then evening comes with wind and rain          that make the scene even vaster. On my boat          I sit silently facing a cold lamp, Several scrolls of books           relieve my loneliness.

Hú Shìdòng Lěngluò jiāng fēngyè xiàng diāo, Béi nán yàn yàn gè fēn piāo. Yuán huāhuáng dìng kuí qiān bàn, Àn shù qīng shū liǔ jǐ tiáo. Wàngwài yānbō cháng miǎomiǎo, Wǎnlái fēngyǔ gèng yángyáng. Kèchuán jìng duì hán gōng zhù, Shù juǎn túshū wèi jìliáo.
