Traversing Grotto Court Lake

Dù Fǔ 712-770  Mermaid chamber, circled with green grass; Dragon's mound, concealed mid white sands. Sheltering the dike, ancient trees coil; Greeting the oars, sacred crows dance. We smash the waves, south wind straight on, Then come about--fearful sunrays slant. The lake sparkles, far away as heaven... I'm almost ready to drift on Sylphen Raft!
