Changjiang viewed from Fengjie in the Three Gorges
Looking Toward Heaven's Gate
|
Li Bo 699-762
From the middle of Heaven's Gate
breaks forth the river of Chu,
Emerald waters' eastward flow touches
north and then returns.
On either shore a mountain green,
emerging face to face,
Beside the sun a lonely sail: one single
sheet approaching.
