Stupa of Master 赤松 Chìsōng, Red Pine, (1634-1706), the monk who opened the 弘福寺Hóngfúsì in Guiyang, Guizou, in the Qing Dynasty. I asked Bill Porter (Red Pine) if this monk's name had any connection with his own sobriquet. Bill replied, ' I'm not sure why my colleague in Guiyang chose his name. In any case, we're both related to the rain master of the Yellow Emperor: Master Red Pine, my connection with the immortals.'
