No longer a sand sand spit island, 鸚鵡洲 Yīngwǔzhōu, Parrot Shoal is now part of the north bank of the 長江. In the Tang it was one of the sights looking north from the 黃鶴樓 Huanghelou, Yellow Crane Tower located on the the south bank.
