Where a 5th century monk delivered sermons so moving that flowers rained down on him from the sky. After 1927 it was an execution ground where the Guomindang murdered thousands of people. A four story pagoda stands behind the 烈士陵園 Lièshìlíngyuan, Martyr's Memorial.
