Olgii is one of the saddest town I have had the misfortune to visit. There is only one hotel that has dribbling hotish showers, the Duman Hotel. There is no place in town to get breakfast! At 9am the dusty streets are mostly empty. There is a market of sorts which opens around noon is an ugly assortment of shops housed in metal boxes, old shipping containers and a few old railroad cars. The only things on sale are clothes, tools and dusty produce...mostly potatoes and cabbage, and a few apples and grapes.
There is one decent restaurant, a pleasant Turkish cafe, open for lunch and dinner, but its menu is sparce, and after two days and I crave anything but mutton stew!
