On the site of the old 吳淞炮臺 Wusong Fort, at 吳淞口 Wusongkou where the Hunagpu meets the Changjiang. The British attacked and destroyed it in 1842 killing the commander General Chen Huacheng. It is a new pagoda and at its base is a war museam remembering Japanese attrocities during World the 'China Incident' from 1935 to 1945.
